How had we not tried Tony’s Pizza before?!

Tony’s Pizza Napoletana in San Francisco, CA is world renowned. Here’s why you should experience this savory pizza for yourself!

Bay Area pizza fans, have you tried Tony’s Pizza Napoletana? If you haven’t I highly recommend checking it out.

What we tried from Tony’s Pizza menu

First of all, everything was scrumptious from the first sip of our cocktails to the last crumb! Since we were celebrating our friend’s birthday, we decided to try an appetizer and 3 different pizzas all with unique crusts.

The appetizer we ordered is called Coccoli. Tony’s has 4 different flavors, but they’re most known for the prosciutto di parma with burrata cheese’so you know we had to order it! These deep-fried dough balls are amazing themselves, but they’re filling so don’t eat too many.

Pizzas we ordered

Our favorite is the New Yorker, because it has savory mounds of ricotta cheese and is baked in a coal fired oven.

Tony’s staff is exquisite

The hostess was nice and accommodating. She even took our picture! Our waitress was extremely helpful and gave us great suggestions on types of appetizers and pizzas to try. Even the bussers were great when our waitress was busy with other tables. Overall, a friendly staff. Maybe next time we’ll see the famous Tony Gemignani! We’ll keep our fingers crossed.
